If you are looking for a bright light for a dark area, this one is a good choice.  The reverse painted floral band appears to be a stencil style pattern of flowers and leaves in shades of greens and aqua with black outlines.  There is a mist of green that coats the blank areas as well.  The outside surface of the glass however is reminiscent of a halopane shade with tiny ridges that expand the light that comes thru from the two bulb cluster.  The base and 8 panel shade appear to have been repainted in the past, but the sockets are original and everything matches up well.  It has been re-wired and works great.
