Mahogany 54" Round Table (inventory # EE-16) This exceptionally detailed pawfoot base on this table makes it a very showy piece. The pedestal is carved between each of the legs and has dramatic turnings on the main pedestal. Each of the four legs has a long acanthus leaf draped over the knee and four toed paw feet. This is a split pedestal style table with a hidden center leg that is revealed as soon as you begin pulling the table halves apart to install leave. This table came with 10 leaves. Some were good enough to use, some were not and we replaced a few with new mahogany. Three of the old leaves were not mahogany at all, but we were able to color them to match and keep them with the table. You may notice three slightly darker leaves in the photo below. All leaves are skirted to match with a vertical grain surface and a stepped bead at the bottom. This table makes a statement whether you have it set up with all the leave in it, or closed down to a 54" round. Genuine Empire Revival. Size ................ 30.25"
