Although it's technically a washstand, it is massive enough to find other uses.  The double doors open to reveal a single shelf halfway inside.  Two drawers project over the top of the doors and are supported by two full round columns with carved ionic capitals, fluted columns and turned bases.  The interesting panels and variety of treatments makes this a very interesting design that will work well with aesthetic movement pieces.  Likely a Continental origin, not American.  The black marble top is in good condition with two repaired exceptions.  The left side arm was broken and the top shelf was broken.  Both have been repaired with epoxy making them stronger than the marble.  Some pitting, some scratches and small chips are evident, but not remarkable.  Glad to send more photos of the two breaks, if needed.
