Classy Oak Pawfoot Table (inventory # EE-226) It has many of the features of a Hastings Table, but it's not. A terrific solid quartersawn oak top and a molded skirt is augmented by four matching skirted leaves. The pedestal is a split pedestal style base with a nicely turned hidden center leg to add support to this table when you have it opened all the way. The nicely formed pawfeet have some added foliate carving on the leg and knee that is reminiscent of the classic wave crest acanthus leaf. The main top has a lock that holds the entire table closed. Once pulled apart, the base splits automatically. This table also has a unique and simple adjustment to help keep the base and top aligned and adjusted. Size ................ 30"
