Oak Winged Lion
Center Table

It's carved just about everywhere. The four lions or
Griffins holding up this table reach back with their wings towards the
center. The balls they are standing on are carved with stars in relief
of the stippled background. The concave stretcher shelf base
has a carved gallery rimming it. The top is a gorgeous quartersawn
grained top rimmed with a broad band of feathers on the edge and an incised
dental style rim underneath. Possibly a Centennial piece.
