10 Piece Oak Mission Style Dining Set
(inventory # FF-116)

Made by the JK Rishel Furniture Company of Williamsport, PA, this set features some very nice amenities, a comfortable size for most homes, and a great value.  The style has many of the elements that Limbert used in his designs during the Arts & Crafts period.  Note the shaped corbels holding up the tops, the slightly arched splashes and the arched rails on the bases of the three side pieces.  The fretwork in the china closet has the traditional tulip design.  Even the chairs sport a reverse tapered leg.  The original hardware all matches, and is complete and is all brass.  The table is a modest 48" round solid quartersawn top with three original table leaves with skirts. The top runners feature an unusual locking mechanism with pins on each side that allow the runners to move or lock in place around the leaves installed.  It also has a traditional center lock for the top itself.    The six chairs (one armchair) have new frame up upholstery in an antique black velvet style.  The sideboard/buffet has a felt lined silver drawer on the top right side.  The top left drawer sports the two labels found on this set showing both the furniture maker and the store that featured this set.  A very nice and complete set perfect for the Craftsman style or Lodge style homes today.
