Victorian Cast Iron and Brass Hall Tree
(inventory # FF-122)

Original brass  and cast iron with original paint is what makes up this elaborate hall tree.  We have only seen a few of these in over 30 years of antiqueing and this is the most complete and elaborate of them all.  The top hooks are meant to hold both hats and coats while the central racks keep your canes and umbrellas organized.  The griffin base probably held either a chain or drip pan in the center and this is long gone.  The gold paint appears to be original and shows some wear through to the base coat especially on the umbrella rack.  The central pole is brass wrapped while the remainder of the pieces are a combination.  Although this piece was originally intended to disassemble, we would prefer not to.  The weight of this piece is sufficient to hold a good size load and not topple over.

Size ................ 75" Tall x 18" Diameter at the top
