Queen Size Bedroom Set (inventory # FF-13) Richly detailed two piece mahogany bedroom set with some of the nicest brass hardware we have seen. Note the three dimensional flower that projects from the center of the drawer handles. The same motif is picked up in the mirror bolts and drawer pulls on the two smaller top drawers. The leaf carving is echoed in the escutcheons and of course along the crown boards of both the dresser and bed. Deep recessed panels framed with molded and carved frames can be seen on the bed especially. A very large beveled glass mirror has been re-silvered. The two top drawers have interior dividers and the bottoms are birds eye maple. The dovetailing is the patented Knapps dovetail system and dates this set in the 1880's period. The bed has no original wood rails so we are selling it with a set of our queen adapter rails and since the main body of it is already 59.25" wide, it will work nicely as a queen size (60").
