Good original finishes are getting very hard to find and we like to take advantage of them when we find them.  A little cleaning, and this china was good to go back to a home.  The unique Arched Top on this square china is repeated in the slight arch in the bottom rail below the door, if you look closely.  The slab sides have a shoe molding foot with original wheels.  The arched face has one mullion added at the same level as the first shelf.  Inside you will find three shelves with plate grooves and the original quartersawn oak panels in the back.  The Arched Top still has a very good original finish and showcases more of that quartersawn oak.  The original back had a paper label at one time, but there is no evidence of the maker of this piece.  The Arts and Crafts influence is very evident in the design with shades of Limbert in the curves.   Key included.
