The little bird sits on top of the lid to act as the handle for this pressed glass pickle jar.  The robin's egg blue glass is a button and daisy pattern mixed with a plainer center band.  The silverplate is worn thru in places on the lid especially and you will note the bent frame on one side of the base.  Otherwise in good condition with everything fitting well.
