Spangle Glass Vase
(inventory # FF-181)

A grand representation of the Victorian Art Glass form called "Spangle Glass" that utilized flecks of Mica in the glass blowing process to give this unique glass it's metallic flecks.  The vase is cased in white glass on the interior, with a clear glass ruffle on the top edge.  Note the ground glass pontil mark on the base.  Because this is such a free-form art glass you will see a few irregularities like the larger spot near the base in the lower photo.  Colors are a blend of creams, pinks, and soft yellows that produce an overall look of peach.
