Outstanding Walnut Bookcase (inventory # FF-52) This outstanding walnut bookcase is entirely original down to the wavy glass in the doors. With a small amount of polishing and touch up, the finish has been restored to it's original condition. There are five shelves inside with walnut faces and they are adjustable. The top crown is elaborately trimmed with a variety of motifs and textures including the lincrusta style rectangles framed in the frieze above the doors, burled decorative crosses, and carved trim. The drawers have a raised burl panel in the center and are surrounded by deep moldings. The columns are 3/4 relief and wrapped in more burl. Doors have double panels of glass in each divided in the center and framed with more deep moldings. Crown board is about 14" tall and pegs into the top cornice. This entire piece breaks down like a wardrobe, if it's necessary. Size ................ 94.5"
